Thunder & Lightening

Postby Carprimulgidae » Fri May 09, 2008 10:07 pm

Just come in from 1/2 hour in the garden watching the sky light up
The air smells so fresh and clean, they think I am nuts standing out in the rain but it got the better of them and we all got wet

What a great end to the day & my wifes birthday, best disply is always made by nature

Anyone else get wet watching the sky tonight :?: :?: :?:

No thunder here carp, i dont think we had the storm, as I slept without disturbance, and the ground is only wet with dew as fsar as I can see this morning. Its very misty outside across the hills, very quiet and still, and very muggy. and it smells so fresh and clean

...and no, you are not mad, by the way! i love a good storm, and stasnding out in the rain too!

OOHHH I love a good storm too Carp. Unfortunately we didn't get any here either. It's another beautiful morning though, so hope to get out in the garden today.

I love storms too and we so desperately needed one yesterday as it was so sticky and humid but we seemed to have missed out in Brum :(

another storm lover here :D but no we had nothing here, just a light dusting of rain last night when i was out bat watching.
its been cloudy here all day but sooooooooo hot and humid. i had a nice wander through the village to the post box (a very nice queen victoria one!), checking out everyones gardens, pausing on the bridge over the stream and got all overheated walking back
