Kit on Radio Devon - May 19th 2008

Postby mrb » Fri May 16, 2008 6:30 am

Dont forget to listen to Kit on Radio Devon!

Monday May 19th - Interview on BBC Radio Devon with Judi Spiers! Kit has been invited down to Exeter in May to participate on Judi Spiers' morning radio programme. Judi loves Magus of Stonewylde and is now reading Moondance and Solstice. If you're out of range of BBC Radio Devon, you can hear the interview on the Internet by going to to the BBC website, http://www.bbc.co.uk/devon/local_radio/ and clicking "listen now" in the right hand column.

Remember also that whilst she's in the studios, Kit will also be recording the first chapter of Magus. This will be aired in five minute slots daily for a week, and is scheduled for a couple of weeks after the interview.

Good luck Kit!

Listen Again

Postby mrb » Fri May 16, 2008 11:52 pm

Yes, Sorry forgot to say the time. It is scheduled for 11:00. If you do miss it, try the "listen again" section which should have the show available shortly after it has finished.

Heard a trailer for Kit's interview on Radio Devon this afternoon - the chap pronounced 'Stonewylde' wrong at first - called it 'Stoney wylde', but then corrected himself. I hope they give out the trailer a few times more before Monday! I'm really looking forward to Kit's interview!

I'll let her know

Postby mrb » Sun May 18, 2008 6:07 pm

Kit will be pleased when I let her know about the ad. She's out of Internet range at the moment, so otherwise wouldn't know about this post until after the interview.

The first thing Judi did at the start of her show this morning was to give a great big plug about Kit's interview and for Stonewylde. You couldn't fake enthusiasm like that! She talked about the magic of the Full Moon, and the 'hidden watchers' in the woods, and what a magical place Stonewylde was, so I'm sure she's got the whole of Devon and beyond sitting expectantly by their radios with bated breath! Ooh, not long to go now!

WELL DONE KIT!

That was fantastic, just finished listening. Had to stop cleaning the bathroom to come and listen. You came across very well, and loved listening to you reading. I think you need to relax now with a nice cold MEAD!!!! :D

Just listened to Kit on the radio. Well done, it was really good to listen to her talk about her books. It was a really good interview. Looking forward to hearing Kit read other sections of her book. Excellent!
