Radio Devon - a good read

Postby cornmother » Tue May 27, 2008 2:59 pm

The girl done good!

Just listened to the Radio Devon hear it again jobbie. Well done, Kit!
Are you going to do your clever techie stuff again, Mr. B. and give us a private replay on the Stonewylde site? (please?) It sure would help, instead of having to jump through the whole Judi Spiers programme to find the bit where Kit is reading from Magus (which was about 2hrs and 15mins plus into the programme).

Looking forward to the next few instalments.

With a smile,

Listen Again

Postby mrb » Fri May 30, 2008 11:28 pm

Just to let you know that I have uploaded the interview and the Magus of Stonewylde readings to this page should you have difficulty finding them on the BBC Website. They will also be here for longer than they will appear on the BBC website.

Happy listening!

Kit on Radio Devon

MrB - you're a star! Thanks so much. Now all I need is a quiet half hour to myself for some quality listening time.

Much appreciated by all, I've no doubt (it'll give Carp something to do, during his long sleepless nights!)

CM said it all, this is great and been listening to it while sitting in the rocking chair nice & quiet.... bang goes my saturday house work.
I think I better keep this from Mrs Carp or we will starve for a day

if only you could get out an audio book for the winter my life would be complete

here am I drifting off into Stonewylde with my cuppa, what more could I ask for, maybe the rain to hold off until the washing is dry but looking at the sky I dont think so, it wouldnt happen like this in the real Stonewylde.

I noticed Kit got in early on in the interview and said "there is not a real Stonewylde" we all know there is of course but dont want a load of tourists there now do we  :P
I can see by next year we will need new T-shirts so here is one to think about; Keep Stonewylde Tidy-- no Tourists
Health Hazzard Stonewylde Keep out or it will change your life.

can't hear....

Postby cornmother » Mon Jun 16, 2008 2:46 pm

Hi Christie

Well, that's a b***** I won't ask the obvious and say 'did you have your speakers turned on?' Are you trying to listen from the Radio Devon website itself, or from the neatly packaged interviews and readings that MrB put on for us, on the News and Events page?

And are you using a Windows Media Player, or wot?

Hi Christie

if you click the link it askes if you want to "open or save"
did you get that?

go here; http://www.stonewylde.com/stonewylde%20 ... eading.htm
try again and give it time to open, i just tried the Full Interview and it took ages to load so maybe you had a slower conection.
good luck, if your stuck i can send you a cd with it on ok

Windows/MAC/Browser?

Postby mrb » Tue Jun 17, 2008 10:35 am

We use Windows to create and Internet Explorer 7 access the site etc. I have never tried it with any other browser, like Firefox or from an Apple computer. I believe they should all work OK, but cannot guarantee it.
