Mum succesfully Stonewylded!!

Postby Ebany » Tue Jul 22, 2008 8:21 pm

I took a bit of a gamble a couple of weeks back and ordered a signed copy of Magus from Kit for my Mum. Now, my Mum is 79 but is an avid reader and loves a good story. So although she is a pillar of the church of England, I thought I'd give it a shot. Just phoned her up and she so enjoyed Magus that she went straight to the local bookshop and ordered Moondance and Solstice and is already halfway through Moondance. So hows that for a bit of Stonewylding!!

Most excellent Ebany!

My Mum is a staunch Catholic adn she has all three books too - she loves them and really really does not like nasty Magus!!

I got her a signed copy of Magus last Yule and she got the other three soon after.

Nice work, Ebany! :D

I still think it's amazing how Kit's books appeal to all ages, from young'uns to Grannies! It's a really special skill to be able to write like that.
