I'm scribbling down the questions, folks - keep 'em coming. There are some good ones there :) I've got about 10 really good ones now. Need another 10-20 to make a nice choice for Kit to answer.

Other good questions to ask would be related to the stories themselves - what about the further adventures of Sylvie and Yul, for example :)

OK, here goes...

I found in Book 3 SPOILER WARNING that Sylvie's temporary change of heart re: Yul and Magus really shocked me, which was interesting because it was at that point that I realised the characters had truly got under my skin.

How hard was it to de-rail Yul and Sylvie's relationship - part of you must have wanted some smooth sailing for the couple who had already dealt with so much?

And why on earth wasn't Miranda using birth control if she didn't want kids?!

And now we're all agog to hear how the video interview went, Kit. Are you going to blog or post, to tell us all about it????? We want to know everything!. Oh yes, we do!

And Segundus, how soon?????????? How soon will it be?
When will the video be up on the FOEM website?

:)

Patience, CM, patience! It went very well! Segundus set up all his equipment in my sitting room (aided by Likky) and we launched into the interview without delay. He asked me loads and loads of questions from a list he'd prepared (many of them from you lovely forum members) and I answered them as best I could. I hope I didn't look and sound like a complete prat! He did try to trick me into telling things about the next book, but I wasn't biting!!

We filmed for about 40 minutes I think and Segundus is going to edit this down to a succinct 10 minute interview I believe. He's going to put it up on his FOEM website and also on you-tube (or is that u-tube?) so it'll be embedded or something. Bit technical that bit for me, but I think it means it'll be picked up on search engines and things. He reckons he'll have it done for sometime next week, and is going to let me have a look first (very kind of him).

You'll all be the first to know when it's available for viewing. I really hope it comes out well. He's a lovely guy and very stonewylded, which is always a good recommendation! Thanks Segundus! And thanks everyone for your questions and interest!

Sneak screenshot of me capturing the video:

Looks very good. Jaunty camera angle, good sound. Looks a lot better in video than it does with this screen capture - much more vibrant colours.

Once I've released it, it'll be available here:

http://www.foem.org.uk

but I'll be producing versions in which Kit and MrB can embed into the main Stonewylde web site (or anywhere else for that matter).

Still need to do the editing - but have been fantastically busy over the past few days that I just haven't had to the chance to sit down and start trimming. But soon. Soon I will and we'll have something good to show the world :)
