The Association of Polytheist Traditions -- 1-day conference in Sheffield -- 24 January 2009.

Speakers:

Greg Hill
Steve Pollington (provisional - tbc)
Other speakers (tbc)

Further details (to be updated) can be found at the APT website.

Just an update on the Sheffield Robin Hood event. The guest speaker is Steve Pollington. Here's some info about his talk.

His title is:
Dwellers in the Wildwood
The concept of feral men in AS literature

He says:

"What I had in mind was an exploration of some ideas (i) living wild in
the woods as part of warrior initiation (ii) tales of green men and
woodsmen (iii) green children (iv) reflexes of all these in Tolkien. I'd
hope to make a presentation of about 45 minutes or so with the customary
Powerpoint."
