Just had a look at the link, and I'd just like to warn anyone down Torbay way that the info on the Paignton moot is years out of date. They're at the Lime Tree in Paignton now, and I think it's the 1st Weds of the month. I don't go any more, though - long story. I'm afraid I never found them very welcoming to newcomers.

I think Stonewylde moots for us mootineers would be a fantastic idea - at least we'd all have something in common straight away to break the ice with - a great talking point, which would branch off into loads of other discussions. And those I've met here are so friendly, I think we'd all get on like a house on fire if we were able to meet up! So many other moots are spoiled by ego-trippers, self-styled gurus and 98th degree Grand Wombats, with sadly the odd pervert thrown in - I've experienced all of that, and it's a shame! I haven't been to a moot for years because of it all.

I still dream, though.

That's a great idea SD a Stonewylde moot. I don't attend any other moots they tend to be evenings I work. It would be nice to meet up with fellow Stonewylders. Count me in. I'll drag Celtic Star along too!xx

As I work evenings and weekends I am unable to attend local moots. I do attend my local witchy shop, though, for coffee and chat.

I used to go to the one in the New Forest (Brockenhust), although I haven't for a few years.

I have never found the Salisbury one, although it would be nearer home for me. (for some reason, I cannot navigate in Salisbury).

I am moving to the Sussex Coast soon, between Worthing and Brighton, so I shall be on the lookout for new Moots.

Cheers, Midori

Near me there is a Moot in Reading (can find through the PF South Central page) and one at the Red Lion in Avebury on the third Sunday of each month I think at 3pm. I was in Avebury on 19th which was the full moon and a Moot was just finishing as I got there with friends. did not go and ask if it was tho but I may go especiallly next time and see how it goes. Is hard tho, as I have not passed my driving test yet...
