Oh by the way - Avebury's not just for Druids - Pagans of all persuasions go there too. Friendships have no boundaries! Druidry and Witchcraft are sister Paths and often run parallel or overlap, so everyone has much in common. Even if the Druids are having a big open ritual or celebration, onlookers are often invited to join in, which is really nice.

Well, I'm back folks. The weather was kind until last night and this morning, so overall we had a lovely time. Met some new friends, May Pole danced and barn danced Went to the opening ceremony ritual and a Floralia ritual. The rituals were very thin on the ground this year and the camp seems to be getting smaller. The hobby horse race was very good and the drumming, so all in all a good Beltane camp. :D

Hail, Midori!

Yes, I know you as Ayana Owl on LAW too. I've really been feeling down - much more so than usual - this Beltaine, hearing how excited everyone has been, and what a great time they've all had, with camps, rituals and everything. I've been so stuck here in this out-of-the-way backwater, cos I couldn't get to anything. It was so good of Andraste to come up and see me - at least Friday was a lovely day. She's such a busy lady.

Hi Beantighe, yes she is a busy lady, I didn't get anywhere this time as I can't see well enough to drive, and even if I could, my VW camper wouldn't make it into the car park.

Trouble is, I can't get the eyeballs fixed until I move, and the house has to be sold so i can move!

It's a pain in the butt.

Cheers, midori

Oh, *big hugs* Midori! It's awful, this feeling of 'stuck-ness', isn't it? I do hope things improve soon - for everyone.
