The Ogma Centre

Postby Felicity » Thu Sep 25, 2008 8:13 pm

Hi all!

A friend and I visited the Ogma Centre in Tamworth last week and the owner asked us to spread the word about what they do. This really is a fantastic place - they run courses on past life (which I'm going to tomorrow!) tree walks, drumming etc. At Sabbats they also run craft based courses for a day - I think Samhain is besom making! They also run a shop selling hand crafted things, very reasonably priced too.

They are also running a campaign called '778 Pagans' - it's a small centre run by volunteers and their electric supplier is being mean and demanding a huge bill - £778! If 778 visitors from nearby come and visit them to spend a pound, they'll raise enough money so as to stay there.

PLease help, it really is a fantastic place, lots of sofas and tea/coffee to stay and have a chat. We were there all night - eek and spent more than a pound!

Are we human because we gaze at the stars or do we gaze at them because we are human? And do the stars gaze back - now that's a question!
