I've found that too in the bookshops I've been in. They only seem to have Magus. It's like they're being cautious, to see if Magus sells before stocking the other two. I went in our Torbay Bookshop and gave them a paeon of praise for Stonewylde, and even though they only had Magus, the kind lady did put it front facing on the shelf, instead of spine out, so more people would see it. I left some cards with her, too. Here's hoping!

Will make some fuller posts later if poss (just about to dash off to do a WI talk in Wiltshire! ) - but in the meantime - that's great, Beantighe, just what's needed. Nothing beats a reader's recommendation and praise in persuading booksellers that Stonewylde isn't a risk - the books will sell if they're available and on view. So Milly, please when you go back into your Waterstones, try to speak to someone if you can and tell them they must stock all the books! This counts for so much more than me writing or phoning and telling them Stonewylde's good. They think it's just author's or publisher's hype. But a reader who waxes lyrical is a different matter. Thank you very much!! :D

Hehehe Carprimulgidae. I'm not reading it right now, as I am trying to finish Watership Down by Richard Adams. But I can't wait to get started. I'm not a very fast reader though as it can take me a week or more to finish a book. :?

my mum ordered some promotional stuff for the stonewylde series the other day, because i forced her to :) (manager of a small chain of book shops) and shes put the posters around the shop and has stocked all three books :) still a lil bit puzzled as to where to put them, i said everywhere :D but shes put them in sci/fi/fantecy (dont know how to spell that today :/ ) which is right next to adult fiction, so i guess it covers both :)

Take your pick:
Producers
Saul Zaentz Executive Producer
Bob Weinstein Executive Producer
Harvey Weinstein Executive Producer
Peter Jackson Producer
Barrie M. Osborne Producer
Tim Sanders Producer
Fran Walsh Associate Producer, Wingnut
Rick Porras Associate Producer, Wingnut
Carol Kim Production Manager

but yes, Pixiedust - your choice of Peter Jackson is the best, as he directed the film, as well as producing. Thinking of lobbying for Stonewylde??
