Watching "Sweeney Todd" last night (it's fabby - see it if you haven't already) and I thought the wee fella who played Toby, Ed Sanders would be good for a young Yul -

(no perving on this ladies - he's only 15!)

and then, watching "A Guide To Recognising Your Saints", spotted Channing Tatum, (Antonio) who might be good for a slightly older Yul -

(it's OK to perv on him - he's 28  )

Also in Sweeney Todd was a young actress from Northern Ireland, who played Todd's daughter Joahnna - Jayne Wisener - a possible Sylvie?

Ed Sander would make a very good Yul, but he looks far younger than 15 :!:

......Mmmmmmmm i'm liking Channing Tatum very much......shame he younger than me.........but he is within my half+5 year age gap suitable for the more mature lady    ......casting couch here we come :P :P

Jayne Wisener.......very pretty young lady, would have to see her without make up and dressed down......I see Sylvie as being, not the typical beauty......a but more ethereal and elfinlike, reckon she'll be the hardest person to cast, as an actress she'll need to be confident to carry the part, but very fey and almost distant....not really describing my thoughts very well here... :?

Ed Sander looks way too young. Yul is only 15 but i see him as a much more grown up 15 than that, ready for his rites  whereas little Ed erm, just doesnt look ready!!!

Jayne Wisener is very pretty but i dont see sylvie like that, i see her more elfin too, with long straight hair.

Mmmm still not convince QoS.....but she would make an excellent Holly. Very very pretty, lovely blonde hair and totally confident of herself. I could understand that Yul and Buzz would fight over her, before both becoming enthralled with Sylvie. :D

Jennifer Ellison could possibly work as Sylvie, but obviously not as 'tarty' as the lovely Jennifer usually is.

Very interesting selection here but I think Jennifer would have to lose the Liverpudlian accent first! I can never find a Sylvie when I go looking...

And I'm sure that would be a real challenge to her acting abilities. LOL

I was watching "PS I Love You" last night (phwoarr on the Gerry Butler front) and I realised that I hadn't thought of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who was also Denny DuQuette in "Grey's Anatomy" -

He would make a very nice Village Person

Would we Village women be allowed a male harem? Or a rota system?
