I just wanted to say a big thank you to you Kit, for your wonderful series of books. Ordinarily I would not have chosen this kind of book to read but after SD read them and then meeting you myself (and even blushing in front of you  ) I promised you I would read them.

I am half way through my second read of 'Magus' and straight away I found myself shouting to myself about the way some of the characters are to one another (trying not to be a spoiler here).

This is the first time I have ever felt like this when reading any books.

I find your style of writing very emotive and have definately given me loads of insights into SD's beliefs etc.

I don't think I have ever wanted to maim and kill a couple of characters in the way I do when I read the series.

I so cant wait for the next book and to meet evryone at the gathering.

And I promise I won't blush again :P

Thank you so much, Swampy - such lovely kind words. I'm so pleased you've enjoyed the books. As for not making you blush again - now there's a challenge! Betcha I can!!!

I must warn you though - if you found certain characters in the first three books drove you mad with frustration and anger at their antics, it'll be the same with the fourth book too. There are some characters that you'd gladly throttle. :x They drove me mad, doing all sorts of dreadful things and I certainly couldn't stop them! Oh - I can't wait till you all read it! We're going to have to be so careful about spoilers on the forum. Maybe Mr B should close it down for a week when Shadows at Stonewylde is published!

You'd better bring plenty then, Swampy - we've got to bring our own booze, remember?

P'raps I should bring mine in a barrel, on a trolley!
