Stonewylde Poem

Postby wiccan woman » Thu Nov 22, 2007 2:15 pm

Hya all just finished the 1st book in the series and felt compelled to write this poem.

Villagers and hall folk are miles apart
One does the labours from sun up till dark
The others are educated and do as they please
Their world is luxury and are always at ease
It’s a place of enchantment and magical spells
Rivers, hills and fields full of bluebells
Ceremonies carried out to allow us some fun
After a long hard winter we welcome the sun
Daffodils butterflies we all will rejoice
Festivals are upon us everyone has a voice
Preparations for the feasting are well under way
Dancing and romance blossoms this day
The earth is fertile and ready for love
Young ones frolic under the moon above
Adulthood comes and with it a price
Not everything here is sweetness and light
The Magus will take you and leave you with child
For the populace must be kept at Stonewylde
