Welcome to Stonewylde, Kattoddorra! Lovely to have you here - and so glad you enjoyed the books. I'm another cat person (I have two lovely Burmese cats, Magus and Malik). Do tell us a bit about yourself - although I see from the age poll post how old you are! Isn't it great to have such a mix of ages here? Young Sophie and Brianna are two new members, both still at school, and there's a complete mix. We do have readers in their eighties (including Carp's mother!) but I don't think any of them have actually joined the forum.

Hello everyone and thank you very much for your warm welcome, you've made me feel 'at home' already.
I'm 61,a retired veterinary nurse and a lifelong peaceful campaigner for animal rights and welfare and voluntary cat rescue. My widowed sister and I live together with our 2 beautiful cats, Walter and Jozef, both our 'boyz'are black and white and 7 years old,but not brothers.We love them both to distraction ! In the past 2 years we lost our 'girlz' Ebony and Popsy, we miss them very much.Ebby was almost 17 and died peacefully of old age, but Popsy was only 5, she had chest trouble and died on the way to see a specialist vet,which was really dreadful !
As I am now past physical animal rescue,I do a lot of on-line stuff, at present I have a petition to get the cruel declawing of cats banned in USA and then worldwide. It is banned in England where I live and is supposed to be a last resort for serious scratching behaviour, but some vets are doing it routinely to kittens along with neutering, and as it is the removal of the last joint of the cats toes, along with the claws, it's a very painful operation which can affect the cat physically and mentally, for all their lives. I don't know if I'd be allowed to post a link to my petition on here or not ? There seems to be a lot of cat lovers who might help by signing and passing it on.
Anyway, sorry to 'talk' so much...
I'm having withdrawal symptoms from the Stonewylde books !! I might have to read all 3 again until the new one comes out ! Kit you are such a wonderful writer !!! I see where Magus came from now, one of your gorgeous Burmese !!!
