Readership poll - how old are you?

Postby kit » Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:06 am

Thanks to a good idea by Carp, I'd like everyone to please fill in the poll above. We're trying to find out more about the readership of Stonewylde, and it would be helpful to know what age category readers fall into. Some bookshops put Stonewylde in the Teenage section but I believe most of the readership is adult. Please help by doing the poll - thank you very much, all my lovely Stonewylders! I hope it works - haven't done this before.
Kit xxx
PS - yes, have done it!! It works - and it's anonymous too!!
:D

well done Kit, your better at this than me

it's very interesting to see 4 votes inc mine all between 40 to 59 years, it will be good to see the age range if everyone filled in the pole

so come on folk lets see what it gets upto by the end of the year just to make it interesting  BUT be honest with your age and only submit it once so we get a good idea of ages reading the books and using the forum.

I am in the 50 to 59 bracket

I put myself in the 16-19 age group only because I'm 16 on Thursday. I definitely agree that these books are ageless. We have Magus in my school library [I've convinced the librarian to get the other two as well], and my mum reads the books as well. It's kinda like Harry Potter in the sense that these books can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age or sex.

Hi Kas
just wait until you get to 40, it seems to pick up speed then & all you can do is hang on tight
But it has it's advantages, 40 is much better than 50

I appear to be the aged crone of the group so far :D I certainly wouldn't have put Stonewylde in the teenage section - perhaps some of the staff at Waterstones should actually read it?!!

us old uns have been caught up & now neck and neck with the 40's. Interesting.

Our friends daughter been reading them in school and she is ten, now I been trying hard to remember what I was doing in school at 10 :?:
Probably still on my Janet and John book 2

I didnt add her to the pole because she is not on the forum and it may give inacurate results.

Looking good so far, everyone please fill it in

Have also added!

Hi everyone - I have also added my vote and it is interesting to see that there are ties on 3 of the age groups on the poll.
