good thing we had some logs left in the corner - cold out....
I think it's a bring a bottle one this time all the stock has been transferred over to the new Jack - I've brought (of course) a load of champers, some mead and some rosemary (for remembrance) crackers to nibble - I'll be back later to check no=one has necked the lot without me
where the willow weeps tears of diamond
and the oak bleeds pearls of dew
I have often dreamed there....
have you?

I imagine it's like saying goodbye to an old friend......but although hard it makes room for the even better things to enter your life :D

Gosh.....just look at the cobwebs! Doesn't take long before a disused building starts to take on an air of neglect [smilie=msn_cry.gif] The windows are so dirty, you can't see the old Yew tree. Even the ivy is starting to creep over the windows and door. I noticed even the sign outside is starting to come adrift!
It's quite echoee too.....just like the new Jack was when we first moved in. Ah, look at the old cushions, looking worn and thread bare.....I've even tried to plump them up.....but they appear to have lost the will to be plumped......ah, I spotted a bottle of champagne. How appropriate to toast good bye to 'Jack' Farewell dear friend

"When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted,
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this."

I'm in too to say a tearful farewell to the old Jack!! We had loads of fun here, although I'm also quite used to the new Jack now!! And we have loads of fun there as well!! Sorry I was not in earlier! It was a bit busy here at work and I was sitting with my back to a tall window that is between us and customer service. As we are actually not allowed to use internet I could not open it then! Now they are all gone! Pheewww! Are we going to celebrate here or in the new Jack!?? :P

Think it's a bit too sad to celebrate in here, do you?

Oh! I finally make it over here to celebrate/commiserate with you all to find you have all moved back to the New Jack!!! It looks even more forlorn now that you have gone... Kiss kiss JAck, I will miss you and your easy posting for many a year.

I am going to take a bit of something from here as a remembrance - a tankard and a cushion (which will be fine with some TLC) and a log from the fireplace....
