I don't know if anyone has been to the above site, I often visit to light a candle there.

That's a good site. I've lit candles on there a few times.

I'm lighting a candle for a friends dad who died today. My toughts have been with them constantly today.

Thanks MG, not seen my mum and dad yet. My dad's a godparent to one of Norman's grandchildren. It's Norman who died. So I will see them tomorrow, or today now. A sad time when it's this time of year. It makes me appreciate all I've got here and now. Material stuff comes and goes. Who knows eh? Glad I don't. Still life is a gift and it goes on. So a candle lit for all tonight. xxx

Kas, I'm so sorry, it always seems even worse losing a loved one at this time of the year when everyone else seems happy. My grandad died on Christmas Day, a long time ago now, but I can still remember him and the day it happened even though I was just 7 years old.
I'll be lighting a real candle later for him and for everyone else who has died, and for their loved ones too.
