MouseDemon

I think I may need to chop the stalk right off mine. I trimmed it, but it can still get a little 'uncomfortable' at times

I'd chopped the stalk off within hours of getting it. It just wasn't happening leaving anything hanging out if you get what I mean!

I still feel it occasionally, but it is SO much better than anything conventional on the market. Although I haven't tried one of the sponges which also sound good.

I am still seeing it as a bit of a novelty item though and my husband is bored of hearing about how amazing it is. Thankfully I have this forum to emote on where people understand what I am on about!

I cut the stalk off completely when I first got it - 8 years ago now.

I would love to try one, but honestly am a bit nervous of it. Took me till my twenties to try tampax!

Maybe will give one a go . . .
Are we human because we gaze at the stars or do we gaze at them because we are human? And do the stars gaze back - now that's a question!

The thing with a mooncup is that you can practise with it even when you aren't having a period. I won't go into all the mechanics, but after a bath, when you are relaxed is probably the best time to try it out. And if you are using a bit of extra help, remember to put it on you, not the cup, otherwise you may have some mooncup pinging around the bathroom episodes!!

But seriously, it is more comfortable than tampons, more convenient than towels, and generally much nicer.

This thread just cracks me up!  Not so much the subject as the way you're all being so beautifully delicate and discreet in your wording. And now I have images in my head of slippery mooncups pinging around women's bathrooms ....

A pixie hat is not that far off.

Unfortunately, it doesn't come in different colours.

You can see why the "stalk" needs to be cut off.

:D

PS. It looks huge, but it really isn't.
