We got some snow!

Postby Firecracker » Thu Dec 04, 2008 10:33 am

So much better than the horrible ice that we got yesterday!

Although for some reason Dan hates it. He point blank refused to walk in it this morning so I had to carry him to nursery which almost killed me! Keep getting more snow flurries to add to it so its getting deeper!

Heres a couple of pics.

How lovely, Firecracker! I expect Dan will be okay when he's got used to it. It must be very strange for a little one. My cats always make me laugh in snow the way they try not to get their paws cold and wet. It must be a very bizarre experience for a small child. You'll have to make him a sledge to pull him to nursery!

AW, that is so not fair Firecracker...!

However, it does look really really pretty so I am pleased you got some. Dan will get used to it, it freaked Claire out to start with. Once he sees his little friends playing in it there will be no stopping him! :D

You're so lucky Firecracker! This morning we had a very cold watery wind and this afternoon we had rain and snow and lots of wind! :? :? :( :( :(
But just the right weather for Dutch pea-soup with bacon and sausage! Which we had for dinner tonight! :P :P

Rain here too.

Although my dogs love snow and run around like loonies. I am like an old woman and walk very carefully and slowly. In Edinburgh at new year I was the slowest and most careful person walking around, much to hubbies anoyance. I had proper walking boots on too !!

My hubby laughs because my moto is 'safety first'. What would happen to my business if I broke a wrist???

If it snows here hubby will have to sled me to work.
