British summertime

own up! who forgot to change their clocks last night?

for those of us in the UK, the clocks went forward an hour last night. Everyone remember to go into your profile and change your clock setting to 'GMT plus one' so that your forum clock is correct

I'll do that now Leanne. I forgot to change the clocks last night. I had put the breadmaker on timed last night, and wondered why I couldn't smell it baking at 8. Probably cos it now wouldn't be ready till 9!

over here in the Netherlands we went forward an hour as well - handy because this way I can leve my settings as they were...
it used to happen that we changed at different times so we sometimes had to or three weeks when the clocks were the same - made it very confusing when phoning home....

I forgot about it too  I was foruming last night and and got the shock of my life when I looked at the time on the laptop, it was suddenly 2am! It took my other half to remind me that the computer clock automatically adjusted itself and that it was really on 1am.

I always feel that I should celebrate somehow when the clocks go forward an hour - summer's well and truly on the way now, an extra hour to be out in the daylight! :P
I wish we could leave things on summer time permanently - it can be so depressing when we lose the light so early in the winter.

I hate all the backwards and forwarding , every six months, messing with the cycles of light and dark.We should leave it alone, Nature knows best !!

I didn't forget, but I do hate the whole process. I grew up in a place where this wasn't done, even though other states did, and I never understood it. I still don't. :(
